October 3rd - Libby & Mike

I love fall weddings! And this one was no exception! I had the privilege to spend a beautiful October day with Libby and Mike on their wedding day! I just love chatting with these guys. Every time we met for a "quick meeting", it turned into 2 hours of great conversation and laughter. They were so easy to connect with. So when the big day came, I knew it was going to work out great. August 29th - Maija & Fred

Another stellar wedding! This one took place at the Daisy Flour Mill. I really love it there. It's so rustic and rich with history. It's also got all of these cozy nooks that lend well to Photography.

If you've been following my blog, you'll know Maija & Fred's smiling faces. They are just riot to be with. And you can't help but smile when you're with Maija. She's got a wonderful spirit about her that's just magnetic.

August 22nd - Kristi & Al

I am so crazy lucky! I'm sure I've already mentioned it... but wow, I am so blessed to be chosen by my clients. I really feel so fortunate to be a part of their lives. And Kristi and Al are certainly no exception to that experience. They were absolutely awesome to work with. From the 1st time I met them, they put a smile on my face. I just knew everything was going to be great.

Kristi And Al chose to commemorate their love at the beautiful Shadow Lake Country Club. We got gorgeous weather (Thank you!) and everybody was in a wonderful mood. And as the day progressed, I could plainly see that they were lucky too. They had surrounded themselves with wonderful friends and loving family. And let me just say, there was nothing shy about any them! They rocked it out under the tent and were still going strong when we left. Nice! So turn up the speakers and check out the photos. Enjoy!

July 11th - Kerri & Derek

On July 11th, I joined Kerri & Derek on their wedding day. And if you're from New York, you know that July was a wet month. As they got ready for their special day, the rain came down hard. Really hard. But Kerri and Derek's glow never faded. They stayed positive and never got discouraged. After the ceremony, the skies opened and the sun shined down on us. It was wonderful! After the ceremony, we went over to the George Eastman House for some photos and had some fun with the wedding party. Check out the slide show for highlights! Enjoy!

June 26th - Maija & Fred, Engagement Session Sneak Peak

These guys were great! Maija & Fred have hired me to shoot their wedding in August. So as part of their package, we did an Engagement portrait session at Manhattan Square Park. We had lots of fun just walking around and talking about stuff, all the while I was snapping away. I'll be using these photos in their signature journal (click here to see a sample of what the journals look like). May 30th - Sarah & Adam

Hey There People! I hope all is well with you. I have a wonderful wedding to share with everybody today. Album Spotlight - Melissa & Geoff

Hi Folks,

Spring is finally breaking in Upstate NY. Woohoo! Yeah it feels good and I'm getting excited about another excellent wedding season this year. So today I realized that I have a bunch of wedding album designs to share from last year, so stay tuned for more.

Today I'm spotlighting a wonderful wedding album from an event last year for Melissa and Geoff. Their album was spectacular to see in person. Here's a glimpse of what you would have seen inside!

Feb 22,d - Maija, Fred and... Cyrus.

So I get a call from Maija in early February. She booked me to cover her wedding in August. I was thinking to myself, wow, it's a little early to be hearing from them. As we speak on the phone, Maija explained that her dog Cyrus is going to die soon. She was wondering if we could do their engagement session early, with Cyrus, so they could have some good pictures of him in his final days. Of course I said YES. We went out to Webster Park and played in the snow. Let me tell you, it was cold, but we made the best of it and got some great stuff. Here's some previews for you. Cyrus passed away a few weeks later. :(

Highlights from 2008...

Hey there people... I hope you all had a wonderful New Years! 2009 is looking to be another fantastic year.

So as I look back at some of my work from 2008 and figured I'd put together a slideshow for y'all! There were some really awesome moments. So many so I coudn't fit them all in. The slideshow contains select images from each of my weddings from last year. Enjoy!

I truly hope that all who read this have a wonderful Christmas with their family this year. Despite all the bad news we hear on TV and the radio - we are all truly blessed! It could be so much worse. Just think about all the less fortunate people around the world. Never forget that!

2 Album Spotlights!

So I have 2 album spotlights for you today (and more to come!). One is from Canandaigua NY and the other is from Spencerport, NY. I'm starting to incorporate more color into my album designs. Album Spotlight - Kirsten & Michael

I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving! Well here I am spotlighting another album design of mine. This one belongs to Kirsten and Mike who had us cover their day at Carey Lake. This album will be a 12x12 and is going to look stunning in person.

By the way, I have some new sample albums on the way as well that will just WOW you, so give me a call to set up a time to see them for your self... and meet me too! :)

Kerri & Derek - Engagement Session

Before the snow started flying, I did an Engagement Session with Kerri and Derek, who have me shooting their wedding on July 11th of next year. We took a ride to Mendon Ponds Park and explored the various areas there. These guys were great to work with. Kerri mentioned that I captured Derek's "real" smile, which apparently is not so easy to do. Looks like we're going to be a great fit for the wedding. After the holidays, I will be designing them a signature journal that includes photos from this session. The signature journal is an excellent way to capture the thoughts and feeling of your guests at the wedding, while spotlighting photos of the bride and groom in a custom designed book. A great alternative to "sign your name on the line guest book". Take a look at this video slide show to check out some of the photos from their session!
